About Lottie

My past experience includes principal in a Pantomime, ‘infotainments’, a short film, National Theatre Connections readings. I also have experience auditioning for drama schools across the UK so am able to answer any questions you might have about the experience!

About the lesson

The text is really the initial trigger to understanding any character and relationship so if needed I will begin with character and text breakdown through the use of practical exercises. These will cover practical exploration of punctuation, sounds and then continue to explore what this may suggest about the character's thoughts and feelings in his moment. Improvisation and the ability to play with different ideas is key to finding truth within the monologue!

Not only is Lottie a fantastic person to work with, she is an amazingly caring person to be around. I was fortunate enough to meet Lottie during my tenure at ArtsEd, on the acting foundation course. Throughout the entire year Lottie was one of the most hardworking people in our group, she never settled for anything and continuously looked to excel in every aspect of her craft. Because of this she pushed others to do better, even without telling them, she created a space of comfort and energy to thrive in. She is one of the brightest, up & coming powerhouses in the industry and any one who gets the opportunity to work with her, can only benefit from the experience.
