About Rodney Thami

I am passionate about the impact of education on people's lives. Particurlaly how learning improves one's way of thinking. I have seen how education has impacted my life and how I think . Behind this impact was a good work done by my teachers. I now want to be part of the positive change that is made through good teaching.

About the lesson

I use a lot of demonstrative approach way of teaching, I engage in a learning task more than just talking about it. This is coupled with Constructivism learning whereby learners create their own understanding of the world around them, and this understanding is based on experience through their everyday lives as they grow. This approach is handy for allowing learners to take a more active role in the learning process, as it encourages them to use their previous knowledge as a foundation for understanding new concepts, as opposed to passively receiving information.
