About Melissa
I am an avid reader, and truly love getting lost in a book. Because of this I am passionate about helping those struggling with reading, to be able to read and comprehend well. The skill of reading is a true gift that every single person deserves to master.
I have been helping youngsters to read and write for 12 years.
I participated in a reading recovery program at a local elementary school for two years, with SK-grade 2 students, and it was one of the most rewarding programs I've ever been a part of- for me and the student.
Being able to read and write proficiently are life skills, and are invaluable life enrichment assets.
