About Greta
I’m a French tutor with over five years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies focused on education. I specialize in helping high school and university students who struggle with grammar and essay writing. My approach is creative and patient. I break down complex grammar rules into simple, easy-to-understand steps. This helps students feel less overwhelmed and more confident. I also work closely with students to improve their writing skills, teaching them how to write clearly and express their ideas with style. I love sharing my passion for French poetry, history, and literature, which adds a rich cultural layer to our lessons. This makes learning more engaging and meaningful. My goal is to make French approachable and enjoyable, even when it feels difficult. I believe every challenge is an opportunity to grow. With encouragement and support, I help students turn their struggles into strengths. Together, we build skills and confidence that last beyond the classroom. I’m excited to help you discover the beauty of French and reach your full potential.

My teaching approach to French is designed to help students succeed in school and beyond. I focus on building a strong foundation in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. I also support subjects related to the French curriculum, like grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding. Exam preparation is an important part of my lessons, where I teach memory tricks and test-taking strategies to help students feel confident and ready.
I use clear explanations and fun activities to make learning easy and enjoyable. For students who have a family connection to French or those who travel often, I tailor lessons to strengthen their language skills and cultural knowledge. This helps them communicate better and feel more connected.
My method balances practice with real-life conversation, so students can use French both in exams and everyday situations. I encourage regular practice and provide tools to improve memory retention. Every lesson is personalized to match the student’s goals and pace. Together, we build skills step by step, making sure progress is steady and motivating. I’m here to help every student reach their best in French and feel proud of their achievements.
