About Sophia

I am a psychology student from east Germany.
I just moved to the US. I like to write a lot and read books. I love language and art. I can meet you online or in person - and do not bite :) (promise).

About the lesson

My approach:
Learning a language is like growing a tree. The roots lie in gaining confidence and joy in speaking and writing without overthinking, creating a strong foundation and growing from there.

Experience:
German is my mother tongue.

I have 2 years of experience teaching beginner German to kids. But whether child or adult - an active and fun approach to the language is the foundation of my teaching.

I also do creative writing in the German language.

Other services:
-Preparing you for traveling in (or moving to) Germany/Europe
-Translating unofficial manuscripts (written or spoken translations)
-Giving lessons in German culture, art and history
-Explaining modern culture and politics in Germany
-I specialize in ancient German poems and hymns
