About Matthew
I have a Master's from Syracuse University in screenwriting, and have taught screenwriting to adults, SAT test preparation (Princeton Review) to high school students and guided multiple students (including ESL and international students) through college essay writing.
My aim is to help my students produce writing that conveys skill and confidence with a personal touch that will keep your readers engaged and come away with a clear impression of what you want to convey.

I take a detailed approach to helping students with their writing by exploring their strengths and areas for improvement. I am able to highlight where to focus their energy and talent to produce great, emotional and engaging writing that keeps readers reading!
I also have experience with SAT test prep (Princeton Review methods for the verbal section) and resume writing for university or job applications.
I work best with high school and college age students ( and I have two kids in this age group myself). I specialize in developing a roadmap to permanent improvement in your writing, rather than just a "one and done" approach.
