About Mikayla
I am currently a high school junior and community college student with a strong academic background in subjects including math, social science, and language arts. I earned an A in AP English Language and Composition, a 4 on the AP European History Exam, and completed Algebra I and II and I am currently in Precalculus.
Along with my high school classes I have completed multiple college courses with all A's including History of Film to 1945, Fundamentals of Biology, Fundamentals of Business, Intro to Ethnic Studies, Intro to Philosophy, and American Government and Politics while having a 4.0 college GPA and a 4.0 weighted high school GPA.
My experiences:
I have experience teaching and tutoring students at elementary, middle, and high school levels including tutoring in AP Euro and Algebra II. I have also experience working with students with disabilities including ADHD and autism which has allowed me to learn how to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs. I have also been a tennis assistant coach for high school and elementary-middle school students which has allowed me to sharpen my leadership and communication skills.
I am very patient, organized, and extremely dedicated to helping students learn and succeed!

Hello, my name is Mikayla and I am a high school junior and college student offering tutoring in all English Language Arts until AP Lang, AP European History, Algebra I + II and any math below high school math.
My lessons are self-paced and focused on understanding concepts and practicing skills to ensure that the student can gain confidence in their learning. I can walk the student through their homework assignment and can adjust my teaching style to better fit each student's learning styles and needs.
My goal is to help students feel prepared for class, confident in their ability to learn, and ready for success!
