About Matthew
For more than 20 years I have worked in independent schools teaching computer science, first in New York City, and currently in Washington DC. Over that time, one of my biggest joys has been seeing students click with code and start to "get it." When your program finally runs the way you wanted it to, or a concept you've been struggling with finally makes sense, there is no better feeling. Those are the moments I strive for as an educator.

Perfect! Matthew is a great tutor. He brings a lot of structure to his lessons. His explanations and examples are very detailed, which will give you a clear understanding. I work with Matthew teaching Computer Science and Maker topics in a K12 school. He is a very learner-centered teacher and has a nurturing attitude when it comes to student academic growth.
