About Carla
I already worked many times in camps with children and have also dealt with groups of children on my own for communities, so I know how to offer an ear to them but also when to get more serious. I have given tutoring lessons now so I'm used to explaining concepts.

Since math is a complicated subject, I like to simplify the concepts using examples from everyday life to better understand mathematical concepts. Having already experience in tutoring students, I pick up quickly on their needs and adjust based on their strengths and weaknesses. I also like to keep lessons fun and interesting by adding a few games to keep the students focused on the lesson and to make it easier to grasp the concepts.
