About Alexis
Teaching has always been my passion, and this is just the first step. I'm a 15-year-old student at a Virtual Academy with a GPA of 3.4 plus. I'm very professional when it comes to my tutoring sessions; I break things down and explain things without getting upset and yelling. I've noticed that many teachers these days do that, making a child feel uneasy or insecure. I take my tutoring very seriously, and even if there may be some lighthearted times, our main objective is to get you on the right track. I also want to help other kids and teenagers develop their confidence in all subject areas.

High school students often struggle to meet expectations due to different levels. To provide a comfortable environment for learning, it's beneficial to have a tutor in your age range. This connection allows for more effective learning and is less embarrassing than learning from someone who has experienced what you are being taught. Since I've struggled with math my entire life and continue to struggle because I'm not perfect, I'm a very understanding person when it comes to learning certain topics. However, I would love to help others as I help myself reach the learning level that we all want to be at.
