About Iris
Hello! I'm Iris, a junior in high school. As of this year, I've taken 10 AP and scored 5 on all of them. In addition, I scored a 1550 on the SAT. I enjoy helping other students understand content. Besides academics, I love playing chess and reading nonfiction. I'm currently a chess coach in my area, helping young players develop more confidence and skill.

I focus on using clear examples and analogies to make complex concepts easy to understand. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning preferences, ensuring that lessons are engaging and effective. My approach emphasizes practice: students work through carefully selected problems during the lesson and receive guidance on strategies to solve similar problems independently.
I am particularly skilled at guiding students in algebra, geometry, AP Calculus AB, AP Chemistry, and SAT preparation. My lessons are designed for high school students who want to build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and achieve high scores on standardized tests and AP exams.
