About Shahana
Hello! My name is Shahana, and I'm currently a high school student getting ready to graduate this year. I am deeply passionate about teaching and learning, and I have multiple years of experience tutoring privately. I'm enrolled in both the AP and Spanish Bilingual programs. Navigating these programs has taught me academic discipline and valuable lessons that have shaped my teaching style today.

The structure of my lessons vary depending on the specific progress of each student. No learner is the same, therefore no student's progress looks identical. The first lesson will begin with identifying the student's goals for tutoring (exam prep, help with homework, a stronger understanding of the content, etc.) From there we will work to understand their struggle areas and any gaps in foundational knowledge, and from there we will practice practice practice! I firmly believe that the best way to learn is to understand your mistakes, and my teaching style reflects this with continuous practice and review of previous errors.
I specialize in Math and Sciences, including Biology and Chemistry, from Kindergarten up to Grade 10!
