About Honoka
Although I am a high school student, I approach every lesson with complete dedication, punctuality, and structured planning. As a native Japanese speaker, I offer genuine cultural insight and natural phrasing alongside formal language fundamentals. In addition to Japanese, I provide clear, patient tutoring in Elementary Mathematics. I help younger students build a strong foundational understanding of essential concepts—including basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, simple geometry, and word problem strategies.

Hey! I’m Honoka, a high school student offering fun, relaxed Japanese tutoring! Whether you're starting from scratch, learning hiragana/katakana, practicing conversation, or want to understand your favorite anime/media better—I’ve got you covered! I am targeting mostly elementary schoolers and beginners. I can also do elementary math. When I teach math, I go with the student's speed and the way that they are comfortable with. I used to be a kid who hated math and had a bad grade in it but now I like math more than my other subjects. So I understand the feeling of students who hate math which means that I can be more on the perspective of the student.
