About Kirby
I am currently a high school teacher and head of 9th grade with 6 years of education experience. I'm best at taking students from their current level of skill and mastering the basics while teaching new skills so that any potential knowledge gaps are filled at the same time as we make connections to new skills.
In one on one sessions, you'll feel like you're making tons of progress every time and have the ability to keep that information with you. Whether you're aiming to get ahead or catch up on the basics, my teaching style is for you. I believe learning can be fun and relevant, not just scary and boring and I'm excited for us to have engaging lessons together.
