About Mark
I've been teaching full-time for 24 years, all at the high-school level.
I've taught at 5 different schools in that time, from rural, to suburban, to urban, to private. I've seen it all!
I've also taught literally every level of high school math (other than statistics), ranging from Pre-Algebra up through and including AP Calculus (AB and BC).
I have my Bachelor's degree in Math/Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College, and my Master's in Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton.

If you're looking for a tutor to help you finish your homework super quickly by giving you all the answers, then... I'm probably not the best tutor for you.
But if you really want to understand how the math works behind what you're learning, and to actually learn the math instead of having to memorize formulas, then I'd love to work with you!
In my teaching career, I've taught literally every class starting from Pre-Algebra up through AP Calculus BC (though not Statistics), so if you're in virtually any high school level math class, I can help you! I am also extremely well-versed in the AP Calculus AB and BC exams, so if you are planning on taking those tests this year, let's work together to help you get to the score you're capable of!
Typically in my tutoring sessions I'll go through whatever assignment my student is working on, and answer their questions, but also pose questions periodically to make sure your understanding is solid.
