About Bonnie

Hi, my name is Bonnie, I am Chinese, from Guangdong Province, teaching both Mandarin and Cantonese. I am studying Japanese right now. In my leisure time, I enjoy working out and baking, which may sound contradictory, I know! (lol) If you are also interested in these, we can talk about them in our class!

About the lesson

Want to speak Chinese or Cantonese fluently in just a few months? I can help you to achieve that goal! One of my students can speak daily conversation, like occupation, hobby, plans, etc, in just one month! (Well, he is also very working hard, he learns 3-5 hours/week, for your information.)

Why you should choose me:

1. Patient - you might be surprised, but I am indeed an extremely patient person. You can rest assured that you can make mistakes and take as much time as you want to phrase your sentences.
2. Empathetic - I am currently learning a completely new language, Japanese. So, I can fully put myself in your shoes. I completely understand the nervousness, lack of confidence, fear of speaking, and the difficulty of characters that you experience when learning Chinese.

My teaching style:

1. Encouraging you to correct yourself instead of providing you with the answer or correcting it directly. I always prefer to give students tips that serve as reminders for the correct answer rather than simply telling you outright. I believe this is the most efficient way to learn a language.
2. I will try my best to find a way for you to understand the language in your own way. Chinese characters are always an eternal problem for new beginners to remember. However, I will break them down piece by piece to help you understand why these characters are written and spoken in their particular way.

So, you want to speak Chinese or Cantonese fluently in a few months? Start now! Don't wait any longer; book a trial class with me immediately. I will do everything I can to meet your learning needs!
