About Stephen
I’m Stephen Yeap Weller — a graduate in Electrical & Computer Engineering with a specialisation in machine learning, and the co-founder and CTO of Seshr, an events-tech startup. Having achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and 43 points in the IB, I know what it takes to excel in demanding exams. I’ve taught STEM subjects in person, helping students boost both grades and confidence, and I’m now bringing that same proven approach to online lessons through Superprof. My work in the tech industry lets me bring lessons to life by linking classroom concepts to real-world innovations, helping students see the impact of what they learn. I also work extensively with AI and can guide students in using it effectively as a study aid, enhancing their learning without replacing it.

Stephen is a great tutor because he knows his stuff, gives clear explanations and is extremely patient! Highly recommended!!
I highly recommend Stephen as a math tutor for GCSE, IB, and A Level students. He has a natural ability to connect with students of different ages and learning levels. He is patient, approachable, and genuinely cares about helping students build confidence in their problem-solving skills.
What stands out most is his creative approach to teaching—he doesn’t just show one way to solve a problem, but encourages students to explore different methods until they find what makes sense to them. This not only improves understanding but also builds flexibility in thinking, which is essential for success in mathematics.
He has a calm and supportive manner that makes students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I have no doubt that he will make a positive impact on any student preparing for their exams. He's a great math tutor, I really appreciate his help.
