I focus on the use of past papers to really improve student confidence. I do not use PowerPoint presentations as I believe each individual requires a tailored and nuanced approach. I like to see how students approach problems and give them alternative avenues to improve their understanding and, ultimately, their performance in examinations. I focus on A Level and IBHL/SL so this is usually students in the Sixth Form. My lessons are usually 1 hour. As an ex Head of Physics in a prestigious overseas school, I believe that I understand the way that students think and appreciate the common errors they make in answering examination questions.
