About Melanie

I have a Secondary Education degree in Humanities and have taught in both private and government schools across multiple year levels. 7 years of teaching, plus 3 years of tutoring, my next step is completing my Masters of Education! I have also taught disengaged youth and have helped them apply for jobs and apprenticeships.

About the lesson

I have found backward mapping my lessons (looking at assessment and criteria and matching to the lessons) is the most productive and best way to achieve success. I'm easy going and will work with you, if you don't understand something, I'll teach it in a different way! I love to incorporate many different things into my lessons-online quizzes, research questions, readings etc, all to help you engage with the topic.
