About Michele
Hi! My name is Michele, I've attained my BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of York and I am currently pursuing my MSc in Data Science at The University of Leeds.
I specialise in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science online tutoring, ranging from GCSE, to A Level and degree content (if you let me know what modules you study!) I’m also able to help individuals who are preparing for university admissions tests, that require some more advanced prior reading.
I usually tailor each tutoring session based on each individual, and their own learning preferences; whether that be a more visual, or a more theoretical approach to Mathematics and Computer Science.
My aim is to allow each individual to develop a broad and structured understanding of each topic, which will solidify concepts more quickly and allow a greater understanding, which in turn will dramatically boost exam performance. This method of teaching is much preferred than past-paper practice alone, as it allows students to not just learn ‘techniques’ to answer questions, but to fully understand the meaning behind them.
Upon request, I’m happy to supply extra practice questions and resources to aid your revision.
I studied Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science at A Level and attained an A* in Mathematics. I also studied Physics to AS Level. I’m currently working toward my degree and aim to attain a First Class Honours Degree.
I believe I will be able to provide a much broader insight into Mathematics, which will boost your confidence and allow you to flourish within your studies. I also believe within the first few tutoring sessions, you will begin to develop a much more enthusiastic and confident approach to problem solving, which will result in a much quicker increase in your performance.
