About Misha
Hi there! I’m Misha, a lifelong educator and storyteller with over 18 years of teaching experience and a knack for making complex ideas click. I’ve taught everything from English and literature to philosophy and psychology—both in classrooms and one-on-one—and I love helping students discover their voice and confidence that learning unlocks. Whether I’m coaching college applicants through standout essays, guiding a student through Shakespeare or Socrates, or helping someone master the rhythm of great writing, I bring energy, humor, and genuine curiosity to every session. My students say I make even the toughest subjects engaging—and I take pride in helping each one find their stride. Let’s make your next “aha” moment happen.

For 10+ years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students find clarity, confidence, and joy in learning. As the most highly reviewed tutor in college admissions, composition, English, literature, and philosophy across multiple platforms, I’ve guided hundreds of learners—from middle schoolers to university students—toward their goals. My experience as a college professor and workshop instructor has given me a deep understanding of how to challenge and inspire every kind of mind.
Teaching isn’t just what I do—it’s my passion. I bring energy, empathy, and intellectual curiosity to every session, whether we’re refining a college essay, unpacking dense literature, or exploring big philosophical questions. My mission is simple: make learning engaging, personal, and transformative.
