I tutor students taking A-levels and IGCSE of ages 15 to 19. I usually introduce the overall concept being taught first and help my students to relate to it if possible and then introduce more detail slowly ensuring they have not derailed. As I progress, I ensure to revisit what I have taught to help my student remember better. Throughout the lesson, I make sure to ask questions to ensure that the student is engaged and understanding the concept. I also introduce problems to familiarize the students with the structure of the exam and the mark points necessary while also checking that their approach to the problem is correct. I have mostly just helped my friends to study and tutored some of my juniors before this and the length of my lesson can be 1 hour or more.
