About Josh

I'm an amateur genealogist and history addict living in Southern California. For the past 13+ years I have been working on my own family history and helping clients do the same. Local history is a daily hobby. I enjoy sharing my hunting tips with friends and relatives. I love to solve mysteries about any subject or person and finding lost ancestors. Putting the puzzle pieces together to recreate the scattered picture of forgotten lives.

About the lesson

Beginning with whatever info you have, however small, I show you how to extract clues from the fine print. I share tips for smart searching that work every time, and how to exploit online search engines to find critical and obscure references about your ancestors. I show you how to use the Ancestry website to build your tree effectively.
