About James
Currently a student from Manchester in first year at Durham University. I have directed and starred in 3 shows and I study the history of Greeks and Romans. I have worked in acting professionally, and have many contacts in shows like Coronation Street and Hollyoaks, as well as contact with agency representatives and actors in the Manchester area. I have been acting for 10 years and specialise in Acting to camera, script work, camera auditions and audition etiquette, having done many myself. I am also trained in the basics of singing so I am very familiar with the use of voice and breath to aid performance. I am also DBS checked.

I will usually approach my classes from a perspective of the development of a character. Looking at a script, analysing the motivations, the actions, the objectives and then giving the student methods and techniques to bring their performance to life whilst still being allowed complete freedom to experiment and make the character uniquely their own. I will also help give them tips and feedback after their performance as well as motivation, so that they can be the best performer they can be.

I offer a three strike cancellation policy if my student cancels after 24 hours prior to the lesson. On the fourth time I will charge if there is a cancellation that is not at least 24 hours prior.
