About Jeimy

Experienced Spanish Tutor | Business & Marketing Professional Highly creative and engaging Spanish tutor with 3 years of experience helping students aged 8-15 achieve language proficiency. Colombian native with a strong grasp of cultural nuances, dedicated to making learning fun and effective through diverse materials including videos, worksheets, music, and incorporating students' favorite characters and movies. Currently providing face-to-face tutoring in Dubai, previously tutored in Washington DC.

About the lesson

My Engaging Spanish Lessons My Spanish lessons are designed to be dynamic, effective, and most importantly, fun for young learners aged 8-15. As a native Colombian speaker, I bring authentic pronunciation and cultural insights to every session. I understand that traditional methods can be dull, so I ditch the textbooks for an approach that captivates attention and makes learning feel like play. I achieve this by integrating a diverse range of materials: we'll use engaging videos to bring the language to life, interactive worksheets for practical application, and even incorporate music and your child's favorite movie characters and shows. This personalized method ensures that each student feels connected to the material, making the journey to Spanish fluency enjoyable and genuinely rewarding.

Jeimy has been providing tuition for my daughter for 6 months and has significantly improved her Spanish. She specializes in teaching children and makes the sessions fun, interactive and based on things children will remember. In my case, she initially met with my daughter, got a full understanding of her interests and built a series of lesson plans around this, which changed the sessions from being ‘just another private tuition’ to something my daughter looks forward to. The sessions focus on a mix of vocabulary, grammar, quizzes and conversation.
