1. My Teaching Techniques and Methods My teaching approach focuses on building conceptual clarity, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving proficiency among students. I employ a blend of inquiry-based learning and the 5E instructional model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate), ensuring that students not only memorize facts but also understand the logic behind chemical phenomena. Lessons begin with background of the topic, engaging questions or visual prompts to activate prior knowledge. I use molecular models, reaction animations, and analogy-based explanations to simplify abstract concepts like atomic structure, hybridization, and thermodynamics. Problem-solving sessions emphasize the step-by-step logic required for balancing reactions, writing chemical equations, or performing calculations related to stoichiometry and equilibrium. To enhance interactivity, I integrate mini-quizzes, real-life examples, and digital simulations so that students visualize the invisible processes of chemistry such as molecular collisions or reaction kinetics. My method encourages active participation, helping students gain confidence and curiosity in their scientific understanding. 2. The Usual Structure of a Class (1 Hour) Each 1-hour class is designed for maximum engagement and comprehension through an organized flow: (Time): 0–10 min; (Segment): Introduction and Recap; (Focus Area): Revising previous topics and connecting them with the current lesson. Discussing real-world applications to make learning relatable. (Time):10–25 min; (Segment): Concept Delivery; (Focus Area): Explaining the core theory using examples, visual diagrams, and practice derivations. Students are encouraged to ask analytical questions. (Time):25–45 min; (Segment): Interactive Practice; (Focus Area): Solving selected problems from past board papers or conceptual worksheets. Students are guided to develop logical steps independently. (Time):45–55 min; (Segment): Applied Discussion; (Focus Area): Linking the concept to experiments, industrial processes, or competitive exam-type problems to deepen understanding. (Time):55–60 min; (Segment): Review and Assessment; (Focus Area):Summarizing key takeaways and assigning homework or self-practice questions for reinforcement. This structure ensures balanced attention on concept-building, practice, and recall within a short and productive duration. 3. My Special Features as a Teacher As a qualified chemistry educator with research-level expertise, my special features include: 1. Personalized attention to each student’s learning style and pace. 2. Simplifying complex topics such as organic reaction mechanisms, inorganic reactions, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry through analogies and vivid examples. 3. Exam-oriented approach with strategies for Board (CBSE/ICSE/State Board) and entrance exams like NEET and JEE. 4. Use of interactive tools model and diagram. 5. Guidance in developing strong chemical reasoning and numerical aptitude, ensuring confidence and independent problem-solving. 4. For Whom the Classes Are Intended These classes are specifically designed for: 1. High school students (Classes 10–12): Both CBSE, ICSE and State Board students who want to excel in school exams. 2. Competitive exam aspirants: Students preparing for IIT-JEE, NEET, and other entrance exams who need comprehensive conceptual understanding and advanced problem-solving techniques. 3. Board exam aspirants: Learners aiming to strengthen their conceptual clarity and improve numerical accuracy in inorganic chemistry.
