About Richard
I'm a retired scientist with a Ph.D. and have taught at the college level. I also gave assembly talks to entire elementary schools on my favorite topic--Volcanoes! I like people. Let's assume you are one [OK, bad joke!]. I raised a daughter who was sufficiently interested in learning that she did her homework without asking, was in top few percent of her class and last year gained admission to a highly selective college.
