About Fiona
I have over two years of tutoring experience (primarily in writing centers). I can help with writing for all subjects. My focus is creative writing, and I can offer valuable reader-based content editing for creative writers. I have taken proofreading and editing classes and can help with grammar. I work with many multilingual students and help them to gain more confidence and a better grasp of the English language.

My teaching method is sharing with a student what they are doing right as well as what they can work on, so they know what to keep doing in their work. I read a student's work and talk with them about what they want to accomplish and what methods they are using to accomplish it. Then I give my feedback about if the piece is accomplishing their goal, and what methods are working and what aren't. My teaching is based on non-judgment, understanding, and creativity.
