About Annabelle
I am a friendly and engaged writer who is eager to help students with their writing process. I believe that writing is a fundamentally shared act, and that working through your ideas with others strengthens one's writing. While working at the Writing Center, I was honored to have many students that repeatedly attended my sessions. I hope to share my love for writing and communicating ideas effectively with others.

My teaching method will center around my students' writing. As a Writing Fellow at Barnard, I was formally trained in writing pedagogy and have four years of experience working with college students from a wide range of academic backgrounds at any stage of their writing process (brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and editing). With this experience, I am versed in helping uncover big picture ideas, creating flow and structure, and editing content to ensure my students' essays are the best they can be. Because of this, students can bring their essays to me at any stage and I will fit the lesson plan to ensure that their essay progresses and their goals are met.
