About Hassan

I believe that I am an excellent teacher due to the fact that it is my preferred method of studying. Over the course of my first undergraduate degree, I realized that I learned best when I would help my peers understand the material. In many of these cases, I would not know the answers myself. I would first read through the problem, try to tackle it myself, and would continue until I had found a solution. At this point, I would have a basic understanding of the method used to solve the problem. I found that by explaining it to the person who had initially asked the question, I would understand the material much better than before. This method of studying helped me acheive a consistent 4.0 GPA throughout the final 3 years of my degree (and through the first year of my engineering degree as well). Due to this, I believe that I thoroughly understand how to explain complex solutions and processes to others.

Although I will be much older than most of my students, I am very capable of understanding and communicating with people of all ages. I have many little cousins between ages 4 and 22 (many of whom claim that I'm their favorite cousin :D ). I can say with complete confidence that my students would be very glad to have me as their tutor!

About the lesson

Available to teach lessons for any grade level (grades 1 through 12) as well as university students.

My methodology focuses on the most effective form of teaching - beginning from the ground up. In my personal academic experience, learning the theory and concepts of any topic creates a solid foundation. This then acts as a base for further study and allows the individual to be confident in their understanding of the material and its underlying concepts.

A typical lesson plan will be to first assess the student to determine if they fully understand the underlying theory. If there are any gaps in this, the lessons would be targeted to clarify any misconceptions before moving on towards more advanced material.

Waheeda is an exceptional student. Her skills were already strong. While teaching her about the metabolic processes of vitamins and micronutrients, I noticed her grasping and understanding the concepts extremely quickly.

Was glad to have her as a student!

Jenine is an incredibly smart person, and an excellent student. I was very glad to see her progress so well over the entire semester as she began to get more accustomed to studying physics. I hope that she continues her efforts to try as many problems as possible for her future math/physics courses. I have no doubt that she will be successful if this continues!

Gray was one of my favorite students I've ever tutored. He is an excellent learner, and I was always impressed by his ability to do mental math even better than I can. I hope he finds university fun, I have no doubt in my mind that he will succeed as long as he continues to apply himself!

Lola is an excellent student who is eager to listen and improve her mathematics knowledge. Even though we had to go back and re-evaluate some basics, she was not discouraged and continued to try her best and listen carefully to my instructions. I believe she would be able to catch up very quickly if she continues to apply herself

Very intelligent student. He listens carefully and absorbs my instructions extremely well. He also makes sure to let me know when he is unsure about something which allows me to clear up the confusion before moving on to the next topic.

Coltrane was a good student who listened carefully and absorbed my instructions extremely well. He also made sure to let me know when he was unsure about something which allowed me to clear up any confusion before moving on to the next topic. I recommend that he do more practice to gain confidence in his skills as I believe he can succeed if he was to believe in himself more.
