About Serena
"Math tutoring started when I realized that most students lack a firm grasp of fundamental number sense. Do you ever feel like the numbers on the page are just moving without any logical pattern?
My path as a Doctor of Medicine candidate necessitates a strong foundation in statistics and probability. I teach working professionals and intermediate learners how to use mental math and problem-solving strategies effectively. Board exam students and hobbyists often find that geometry and trigonometry are easier than they once thought. I provide homework help that focuses on conceptual learning rather than rote memorization.
You can expect a clear and methodical explanation every time we meet. I guarantee that we will focus on building your confidence through consistent logical practice."

"The smell of dry erase markers fills the room as we work through the first complex word problem of the day. A typical session starts with a quick review of your current struggle areas. My Doctor of Medicine degree means I prioritize high efficiency in every calculation. We will work through arithmetic and number sense until the solutions become second nature.
I promise to provide a clear path forward for your studies. You will find the work manageable. We will focus on improving your speed. You will succeed."
