About Valentina
Born in Colombia and raised in Australia, I've lived at the intersection of cultures my whole life. That blend shaped who I am and how I see the world. Spanish has always been my home language — spoken with family and friends, and deepened through my role as a Youth Leader at a Spanish-speaking church, where I connect with members who don't speak English. It's pushed me to go beyond communication and use language to genuinely inspire and support people. Living in France added another dimension. Immersed with no shortcuts, I learned French the hard way — and reached C1. I've since added Italian to B1. That firsthand struggle with traditional language education showed me its limits, and it's what drives my passion for helping others learn more naturally, speak more confidently, and reach fluency faster.

I will speak to you solely in Spanish. A typical class includes 1. Vocab 2. Grammar 3. Activity 4. Speaking (+ phonetics optional) I enjoy teaching young people, from primary school to high school. Lessons can range from 45 minutes up to 2 hours, to maximize focus and engagement. I am a native Spanish speaker. Having lived in Colombia for 10 years, I can offer you a wide range of vocabulary, writing support, and practical speaking tips to help you become fluent in just a few weeks. Before you know it ¡vamos a estar hablando español juntos!
