About Ayesha
As a Human Biology graduate from Virginia and a future medical student, I bring a strong academic foundation and real-world experience to tutoring. I've worked with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels through undergraduate college, helping them gain confidence and clarity in both math and science. I scored a 99th percentile score on the SAT, so I also provide targeted SAT prep. I help students boost their scores with effective strategies and practice.

My Teaching Approach:
I focus on building understanding from the ground up. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they truly understand the "why" behind it. I use a supportive, patient, and conversational style to make even tough subjects feel manageable. I identify knowledge gaps and I work with the student to fill them in. I adjust my teaching pace based on the students' needs and encourage questions at every step.
Each session starts with a quick review of previous material to check understanding. Then we move into the current topic, where I explain concepts in a simple, relatable way. We work through practice problems together, gradually increasing difficulty, and I always make time for any questions. For SAT prep, I use official practice materials, teach timing strategies, and focus on building confidence under pressure.
Having worked with a wide range of age groups and academic levels, I know how to adapt my teaching to meet each student where they are. I’ve taught in classroom settings and one-on-one, and I bring that flexibility and structure into every session. I'm also a firm believer in making learning less intimidating and more human—no stress, no judgment, just steady progress.
I tutor K–12 students in math and science (including biology, chemistry, algebra, geometry, etc.) and offer SAT Math and Science prep.
Let’s make learning feel achievable, and maybe even a little fun.
