About Cate
I am a working mom with the desire to help people. I obtained my Bachelor's in Criminology and wanted to become a FBI agent but life took me into another direction. I chose love over pursuing my career and moved to a different state to start a family. From there I luckily was offered a position as an Investigator working for the Walt Disney Company and then moved to the Human Resources Department. Helping people was always on my mind no matter what career I entered. When my oldest son was 3 and my then husband's career was excelling, we decided it would be best for me to become a stay at home mom. I loved every second of it but always did some tutoring or helpful side hustles during that time. Fast forward a couple years and add in another son who was entering VPK I knew it was time for me to go back to work full time. I applied and was offered a position as a Senior Recruiter working for a staffing firm. In this role I assist people on a daily basis with writing their resumes, acing interviews and getting their dream job.
