About Ferdinando
I studied Theoretical Physics at Bachelor's and Master's level. Then, I started a PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College London. In my everyday work I focus on Probability and Statistics. I have been giving lessons for 6 years, from GCSE to university level. I have also been a tutor at Imperial College, at undergraduate and Master's level, for the last 18 months.

Italian
When facing a problem, I ask the students questions so that they can gradually reach the solution on their own. I help the students understand everything they learn, so that they will find the next topic easier to study on their own. I encourage the students to go throughout the textbooks and discuss what they don't understand with me. My aim is to make the people I tutor independent learners. This takes effort but gives great results and equips the students to tackle future challenges. I believe that problem solving is fundamental to understand a topic. Generally, students of any age find it easy to interact with me, since I am very friendly and patient. Please get in touch if you have any questions!
