About Rishi

I'm an incoming engineering student at UBC with a keen interest in mechanical engineering. As someone who has excelled in and is deeply passionate about Mathematics, I strongly value the importance of understanding versus memorization. Not only does one score higher marks when developing an understanding, they also retain the information with deeper insights of the topics. Applying my techniques to my academic courses in High School enabled me to graduate Honors with Distinction, as well as achieving the following marks:

AP Calculus AB: 100%
AP Computer Science 12: 97%
Pre-Calculus 12: 99%
Chemistry 12: 100%
Physics 12: 97%

About the lesson

My teaching methodology emphasizes understanding and intuition over memorization. In order for one to be successful in Mathematics, it is imperative that one truly understands the subject. Having experience from tutoring a number of High School students from different backgrounds and levels of Mathematics, I create individual lessons plans that are tailored towards each and every students needs.
