About Nugroho
My name is Stephen, and I’m someone who values clarity, consistency, and learning that fits real life. I have experience across software development, fitness, and language learning, and I enjoy helping others grow in a way that feels grounded rather than overwhelming.
I approach teaching with patience and structure. I believe people learn best when they feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and progress at a pace that suits them. Whether I’m teaching programming, calisthenics, or Bahasa Indonesia, my goal is always the same: to help students understand why things work, not just what to do.
What sets me apart is my balanced approach. I don’t rush results or rely on rigid formulas. Instead, I focus on building strong foundations, encouraging long-term consistency, and adapting lessons to each individual’s background and goals. I value professionalism, preparation, and clear communication, and I take responsibility for creating lessons that are thoughtful and effective.
If you’re looking for a tutor who is calm, attentive, and genuinely invested in your progress, I’d be happy to support you on your learning journey.

Hi! My name is Stephen, and I teach Bahasa Indonesia with an emphasis on real conversation and cultural understanding. My lessons focus on helping you communicate naturally rather than memorizing rigid grammar rules. I aim to make learning Indonesian practical, relaxed, and enjoyable.
A typical lesson includes conversational practice, useful vocabulary, and simple explanations of how the language is actually used in daily life. I adapt the content to your goals, whether you’re preparing for travel, connecting with Indonesian culture, or learning for personal interest.
What sets my lessons apart is the cultural context I bring as someone who kept in touch with my root while living abroad. I help students understand not just what to say, but how and when to say it naturally. These lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who want to speak confidently and comfortably in real situations.
