About Puerin

Dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth, I bring a structured, highly organized, and compassionate approach to every learning session. As an educator grounded in proven pedagogical frameworks and modern instructional design, I am committed to creating a professional, supportive space where students feel both challenged and fully capable of succeeding.

My experience extends beyond traditional classroom instruction into collaborative educational leadership—such as co-hosting and coordinating academic seminars where clear communication, meticulous preparation, and a welcoming presence are essential to engaging diverse audiences.

When you work with me, you can expect thoroughly planned lessons, transparent assessment standards, and unwavering dedication to your educational goals. Together, we will transform complex concepts into clear, achievable milestones, building the skills and confidence you need to excel with poise and authority.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy centers on a student-centered, interactive approach tailored to each learner's unique style and pace. Rather than relying on passive lectures, I utilize structured frameworks like the 4 A's model (Activity, Analysis, Abstraction, Application) to ensure concepts are truly understood and internalised.

Diagnostic Assessment: Lessons begin by mapping out your current skill level, learning goals, and specific areas for growth.

Scaffolded Instruction: Complex topics—whether macro language skills, literary analysis, or essay structure—are broken down into clear, manageable steps.

Interactive & Multimedia Tools: Concepts are reinforced using clear visual organizers, custom diagrams, and structured rubrics so expectations are always transparent.

Constructivist Learning: I encourage active discussion, guided questioning, and real-world application, empowering you to connect new concepts directly to your goals.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Every 60-minute session is designed with intentional structure to build both competence and confidence:

Warm-Up & Recall (5–10 mins): A quick review of previous material through interactive prompts or brief diagnostic exercises.

Interactive Activity & Concept Discovery (15–20 mins): Guided exploration of the core topic using targeted passages, visual models, or structured discussions.

Analysis & Deep Dive (15 mins): Collaborative breakdown of key rules, frameworks, or analytical methods.

Practical Application (10–15 mins): Hands-on practice where you draft, critique, or solve exercises with immediate feedback.

Wrap-Up & Next Steps (5 mins): Summary of key takeaways, goal check-in, and targeted practice for the next session.

What Sets Me Apart
Collaborative Pedagogy: Standardized approaches often miss individual needs. In past academic and hosting projects, such as collaborating alongside Nicole Puerin on educational seminars, clear, welcoming, and structured communication proved key to keeping learners fully engaged.

Actionable Feedback: Feedback isn't just about identifying errors; it's about providing step-by-step strategies to correct them.

Visual & Structural Clarity: I bring structured visual organizers and detailed rubrics into lessons to turn abstract academic theories into concrete, actionable steps.

Who the Lessons Are For
These lessons are designed for learners at various stages of their academic journey:

High School & Senior High Students: Developing foundational reading comprehension, literary analysis, and clear academic writing.

Undergraduate & College Students (BSED / Humanities / English Majors): Mastering literature, pedagogical concepts, structural analysis, and academic essay composition.

Test Prep & General Learners: Individuals looking to build confidence in public speaking, communication skills, or structured argument development
