About Harshitha

Hi, I am Harshitha and I am passionate about making learning fun and accessible for every child. I founded Merit Tutoring because I believe that traditional teaching methods do not work for every student. Some children need a more interactive and engaging approach to truly understand and enjoy Math and English.

I have experience working with students across Years 1 to 10 and I understand the Australian curriculum inside and out. My focus has always been on building each child's confidence, not just improving their grades. When a student starts to believe they can do it, everything changes.

I created a gamified learning system because I saw how much more students retained when they were having fun. Watching a child go from struggling to thriving is what drives me every single day. I am committed to providing quality education at an affordable price so that every family can give their child the support they deserve.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully online and designed for students in Years 1 to 10 covering both Maths and English. I use a gamified teaching approach where students learn through fun interactive games, making each session enjoyable and engaging rather than boring or repetitive.

Classes are held in small groups with a live teacher guiding every session. This means your child gets personal attention while also learning alongside peers, which keeps them motivated and builds confidence. Every lesson is aligned to the Australian curriculum so students are always working on what they need for school.

Each weekly session is structured to build skills progressively. Students start with a warm-up activity, move into the core lesson through interactive games, and finish with a review to lock in what they have learned. No lock-in contracts are required, and your child's first lesson is completely free so you can see if it is the right fit before committing. Sessions start from just $29 per week.
