About Isaac

Hi, I'm Isaac! I am an undergraduate English student in my final year at the University of Birmingham.

I studied both English Literature and Language at GCSE and A-Level, which has given me a broad understanding of the subject. I'm really passionate about English, and this will come across in my teaching.

If there's something in particular you're working towards, or you're just struggling with a particular topic, I'm here to help! If you've got any queries, just drop me a message; I'd love to hear from you.

I've always struggled with the pressure of exams, and so I can completely empathise with those who feel the same! I can also appreciate the time-consuming ordeal as you prepare to hand in coursework, or take part in a controlled assessment. Each student is different, and I'm here to give help as it's needed!

I like to start with a short introductory session with the student. It's really important to build a rapport in order to learn effectively, and so I take a friendly approach to learning. Although I think it's fundamental to have a good relationship with the student, I also ensure progress by working toward a specific goal. This will, of course, be different for each student.

I'm passionate about English, and I'm here to help out!
