Excellent! This was my introductory lesson and I was very nervous. However with the activity Gioele chose I was soon concentrating on that and really enjoyed it. It was tun!

Perfect! Gioele is a great listener who was totally comfortable letting me set the tone and content of our lesson. I'm a polyglot (7 languages) who knows exactly what he needs, and Gioele did not insist that I do things his way but instead allowed me to guide the class. He was willing to speak at a natural rate, which at my level (high B1/low B2) is challenging but reasonable. I will definitely hire him again.

Perfect! Gioele was warm and welcoming with a lovely smile and informal style that instantly put me at ease. I really enjoyed the taster lesson he gave me where he had me jump straight into speaking Italian covering the basics of a first lesson such as who I am, what I do, my hobbies, family, etc. He then spoke a bit about himself in Italian which was a nice way to both connect and practice my listening comprehension. He used this as a vehicle for my learning by having me type, in Italian, what I had understood. He then gave me feedback, helping to improve my grammar and spelling. I like that Gioele shared his screen and drew/typed stuff for the lesson as it helped engage me as it gave me a visual and audio input to my learning

Perfect! Gioele is great at assessing and adapting his content to your specific interests and knowledge level. The lessons are upbeat, positive and constantly aimed to push you to your limits. Perfect! Gioele is a super encouraging tutor who gets an understanding of your reason for learning Italian and how you best learn then applies that to his lessons. He uses a range of methods to learn each aspect of of the language such as speaking to you and listening to audio in only Italian so you get used to hearing and applying the language instead of just working through a book.
