About Beatrix
I am a recent graduate from Columbia University in New York City, where I received a B.A. in History and got a 4.0 GPA. I graduated magna cum laude (in the top 10% of my graduating class). While in college I wrote a total of 45 essays/papers. I never received anything below an A- on a writing assignment.
I now work in Washington, D.C. in foreign policy research, so I continue to develop and strengthen my writing skills at work. I'm looking to spend my free time tutoring and helping others develop their writing skills!

I am an exceptional writer and editor offering my services to middle school, high school, and college students in need of assistance with writing.
I can help you make outlines for your essays, think through your ideas, get your thoughts onto paper, and edit your work. No matter what, I am committed to helping you develop your writing skills so that you can easily communicate your arguments and write persuasive, well-written, and compelling essays.
A typical lesson will depend on your needs. We may go over an essay you have already written, highlight parts that need to be revised, and work through the editing process. Or, if you're in the beginning stages of writing assignment, we may discuss the prompt, your initial ideas, and start outlining together. Each tutoring session will be adjusted to your priorities and needs!
