Don't worry, I was also terrible at English. By the end of Year 11, I was ranked ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ต ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ญ๐ฑ๐ด.
In fact, I was doing so badly that I had to join extra morning classes for English mentoring.
But, by the end of Year 12, I had topped English, coming ๐ญ๐๐ in Trials AND overall in James Ruse.

I was praying. Praying that I would get above average.
Instead, I came 1st in English Yr 12.

Every time I handed in an essay, comments like these were handed straight back to me. To be honest, I didnโt even know how to use this feedback โ I kept writing slop, praying to just scrape by.
I could never crack the top 25% or get an A-range mark. I still remember getting ready to leave without making eye contact so no one would ask about my mark.
Woah! I came 1st in English Yr 12!
