About Jolyne
I am a very conscientious and rigorous student who takes deep satisfaction in seeing my explanation of something help someone to understand a core concept. I often learn best by putting things into my own words and then conveying that to another person. I almost always receive the same feedback; that my explanation was clear and intuitive. Naturally this made it obvious to me that tutoring was a skill of mine, and such as a second year student I decided to take that opportunity to teach students in GCSE level and below. My lessons are available either in person around Bristol city centre or online, preferably by use of zoom or discord.

In general my teaching methodology would usually begin by use of an appropriate testing method such as a past or mock paper such that I can garner about the ability of whoever I am tutoring, and this would be done not just by sitting and making them do the test but by going through it with them and asking for their thought process on every question as well as seeing which areas need to be worked on. My experience as a tutor mostly consists of tutoring lower year family members and friends, and consistently I have seen results, for example UCAT physics tutoring.
