Hi, I’m Laila. I graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Journalism and have worked across multiple publications as both a writer and editor. Writing didn’t come easily to me at first, in fact, it used to feel intimidating. But during high school, I had a tutor who helped me find clarity, confidence and eventually, a deep love for storytelling. That experience shaped not only how I write today, but how I teach.
As a journalism graduate from Boston University and an editor with hands-on industry experience, I understand how powerful it is to have someone guide you through the writing process with patience and care. That’s exactly what I aim to do for my students.
