About Helen
I have been teaching English literacy and tutoring in ESL for 20 plus years. I have an accredited certification in TESOL/TEFL.
I have taught adults and children in home, classroom settings and online. My hope is to establish a full time online base, which will enable me to teachfrom home.

I use a variety of approaches. I don’t want my students to be bored! Conversation, a little grammar, reading books & newspapers, watching videos, role playing in little plays.
I encourage my students to experiment and come up with their own ideas about what they want to learn.
Above all I try to create an environment where my student are not afraid or embarrassed to make mistakes. I assure them that this is the way you learn.
