Hi! I’m Sydney, a Criminal Justice major at NCCU, and I offer online tutoring for K–12 students in spelling, reading, and writing. My teaching approach is patient, personalized, and engaging. I like to break down lessons into manageable steps so students feel confident and motivated as they learn.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by guided practice with spelling, reading comprehension, or writing exercises. I encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts, then we end with a fun application activity or short quiz to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is that I make learning stress-free and enjoyable. I focus on building confidence and independence, not just memorization. I tailor every lesson to each student’s unique strengths, challenges, and learning style, ensuring they truly understand the material.
My lessons are perfect for K–12 students who want to improve their reading, writing, and spelling skills, whether for homework, test prep, or general academic confidence. I’m here to help every student succeed and enjoy the process of learning.
