About Steven
I am from Daegu, South Korea currently living in London as a PhD graduate in Musicology from Birmingham. Over the past few years Hallyu (K-Pop, K-Drama, K-Food, and you name it!) has been rising stars and lots of people are interested in it. Studying alone can be boring and difficult, but together, it becomes both enjoyable and rewarding. Start your personalised journey to confident Korean learning today!

-Typical lessons are 60-90 minutes long depending on student's experiences. -Lessons are planned tailored to each student’s level and goals (work, business, study, travel). - My lessons go beyond memorising grammar and vocabulary, focusing on building practical Korean skills that can be applied directly in real-life situations, while developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a balanced way. - In addition, lessons are mostly going to be in Korean. This is to improve their communication skills and I try to minimise speaking in English unless it's basic level

Details
My standard fee is £35 for a 60-minute session, which includes tailored instruction based on the student’s level and goals. This rate applies to both in-person and online lessons.
For in-person lessons, travel within a 10-km (or 6 miles) radius (from where I live, West London) is included at no extra cost. If the lesson location requires traveling beyond 10km, an additional £20 travel fee will be applied. This ensures that time, transport costs, and logistics are fairly covered, while still keeping the lessons accessible.
