Teaching Method and Techniques: My approach is student-centered, focusing on understanding each student’s unique learning style. I use a mix of interactive discussions, multimedia resources, and real-world examples to make social studies engaging and relatable. I encourage critical thinking and connect historical events to present-day scenarios to deepen comprehension.
Typical Lesson Plan: A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material to reinforce learning. We then explore new topics using a variety of methods, including storytelling, visual aids, and interactive activities. I include plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions, ending with a recap and practice exercises to solidify understanding.
What Sets Me Apart: What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and make social studies exciting. I aim to inspire a genuine interest in history, geography, and civics by making the content relevant to the student's lives. My background in secondary education equips me with the skills to adapt lessons to different learning levels and needs.
Who the Lessons Are For: My tutoring is ideal for middle school to high school students who need help with history, geography, government, or economics. Whether you’re preparing for exams, working on a project, or simply looking to improve your grades, my lessons are tailored to meet each student’s specific goals and needs.
