About Federica
My name is Federica and I am a young professional with a passion for languages :)
I have been giving lessons in Italian, German, and Spanish for almost 10 years. I have taught children and people of different levels and learning abilities. I have also helped students to prepare for their GCSE.
I lived in Germany and worked as an au pair. This experience allowed me to deepen my language knowledge but also to experience the culture.
I hold a degree in Modern Languages (German and English) with International Relations. I studied for my degree in Italy but spent some time as an exchange student in Wales. I have also lived in Australia, Spain and now I am in the UK :)
I would say that my greatest achievement from teaching has been seeing my students become more and more passionate about my native language and languages :)

I like to model my classes based on the interests and needs of my students. We can focus on a special topic or ability that you want to improve or take a more general approach.
Learning becomes easier when you like what you are learning so I like to focus the classes on what my students are most passionate about.

Perfect! Very good. Excellent teacher
Perfect! Frederica teaches a witty German to my 5 years old for a year now. Grammar method on a working book, games of vocabulary or remote lesson, she managed to captivate my little learner. I warmly recomand her.
Perfect! Federica has been very patient and attentive with me. I’m really feeling the effects of her lessons on my German already and I couldn’t be happier with the materials and support that I get!
- Oliver is a very good student who has good knowledge of the language. I think that after we revise and have a deep look at the topics he finds most difficult, Oliver will gain back very soon his confidence in the language.Federica's response :
Perfect! Thank you Federica as you are knowledgeable and know how to tailor the lessons to what I need.
- Alice has got already a high level of knowledge in the subject and it is lovely teaching her. I am confident that she will be able to reach her goals very soon.Federica's response :
Perfect! I had such a useful and fun time learning German with Federica. She is very friendly and seems really interested in what you as a learner need to improve on. The lessons are really well put together and she clearly goes to a lot of effort in planning them. Have booked a set of ten lessons. You should do the same. :)
- Jonathan is a very dedicated and precise student. He is very keen and always trying to learn something more, which I find very stimulating as a tutor. It is a pleasure having Jonathan as a studentFederica's response :

I’ve been known Federica for 6 years and I’ve never found a person as humble and competent as she does in her job. Moreover she is really patient and passionate about teaching and these are important values for a great teacher. If I had to look for a guide and not only a language teacher, I would chose her without having second thoughts ! You’ll never regret it!
My lovely teacher! she explains me the rules very easily, clearly and understandable! I just enjoy my classes with her!
